I started a blog! But, why?

Yes, it’s true, I have started a blog. This post is for all the people that asked me why - which, as of writing this, is 0 (So, it’s completely justified).

🤷🏽‍♂️ idk, I just felt like it, OK! Can’t a guy just do stuff anymore, geez!

THIS BLOG IS ABOUT DOCUMENTING MY JOURNEY...

… through learning how to code and figuring out ways around the various roadblocks I hit in my projects.

This means that you’ll see technical posts about things that I’ve created with code - like this blog or my portfolio and other personal/freelance projects I’ve done (I may sprinkle bits and pieces of projects I’ve done at work - depending on how private I need to keep those).

This’ll cover interesting problems that I’ve encountered and my solutions to those problems (including code samples!). While many of these may be well-documented in other blogs and online spaces, I’ve found that every project has its own unique spin on things and that’s what I hope to bring to the table.

BUT...

This blog will also be about my thoughts on other topics that I’m passionate about - like self-improvement, work-life balance, leadership and life in general.

These will cover things from books I’ve read and things I’ve learnt outside the coding space. I’ll be talking about things like “Deep Work”, downtime and introversion (to name a few ideas I have right now).

…...

If you like what you see, stick around (I may build an email list later, stay tuned for that) - there’s more to come! I'm currently planning a 2-week post schedule (that's 1 post every 2 weeks), just so that I can manage my time better.

But in any case, thanks for passing by!
